The GirlUp Campaign was founded by the United Nations Foundation in 2010. The campaign was characterized as urgent, highlighting the need for gender equity and women empowerment, especially for adolescent girls in regressive places. Numerous GirlUp chapters like GirlUp Ludhiana are the heart and soul of this mission. These chapters bring together like-minded, compassionate and hard-working individuals who are eager to see significant change in the world. Every year, GirlUp clubs advocate women's rights urging girls to stand up for themselves and turn into change makers of the future. Because when girls rise, we all rise.

Progress, not perfection.
In the midst of 2020, I founded Girl Up, a UNF initiative in my hometown, Ludhiana providing a platform
and guiding girls along their journey from leaders to changemakers and have been advocating for
gender-neutral rights with HeForShe, generated new business with marketing initiatives and strategic
plans along with leading the global campaign #EncouragetheCourage over Asia & African subcontinent and
being one of its star performers, managed the Sales & Marketing of the Punjab Region, planned and
implemented digital marketing campaigns, collaborations with influencers mainly from Bollywood &
regional artists, bloggers, and celebrities hence increased conversions and witnessed record-breaking
sales throughout my tenure, co-founded a health tech project focused on providing a brand new
perspective in the field of Alzheimer's care and Engaged with world leaders and emerging leaders to
supercharge and accelerate solutions for the sustainable development goals in SDG Action Zone.
My social projects have been acknowledged by notable organizations including Girl Up Foundation and were
featured among 14 Indian Community leaders this International Women's Day.
We at Girl Up Ludhiana aim to promote gender equality so that youth flap its wings and
gets a better world to be in.We wish to welcome a future where no girl has to succumb to lack
of education, opportunities, freedom, justice or safety.
